At last, some proper spring weather and eleven of us (a big welcome to Liz) set out for Trerulefoot and our café stop at Kernow Mills, where the manager had kindly shown us where to park our bicycles safely out of sight round the side. Once we were settled, Megan led us through the proposals CTC Cornwall is currently consulting on re a potential Liskeard Cycling Club and encouraged us all to feed back on the proposals via a Survey Monkey survey being circulated within the next few days.
Then we waved goodbye to Amanda and Zoe and the rest of us sailed on down the hill with that amazing view to Tideford – across the A38 and along to the beautiful Tilland Mill for our second cuppa and choc bites courtesy of Geoff. Up the long hill then to Doddycross with plenty of time to admire the stitchwort, dog violets and primroses – and home to Liskeard. Within sight of home we managed to pick up a puncture and were treated to a maintenance workshop by Corinne, who had it fixed in no time (Charlie, please note – you are redundant!).
As always, loved being out with the ladies.
