Sunday 19th February, 2017 – Liskeard Velo sweep away the cobwebs with their ride to Seaton and Maker Heights.

Report by guest blogger, Megan:  It was great to have thirteen join us for the first leg of this ride to our coffee stop at Seaton on a dry February day – all enjoying our coffee and cake in the beach café with plenty of places to hide from the wind. For those of us taking on the rest of the ride, the climb up out of Downderry was a challenge but both Janna and I got up without having to push so must be some improvement even if a tad slow. Lovely Dave Ball a true gent supported us up the hills with his chat.  Worth noting that Dave is to be the ride leader for the new upcoming men’s Easyrider Group (first ride going out from Liskeard Parade on Saturday 25th March!).  The ongoing ride along the coast presented us with some fabulous views so well worth it!  Well done to everyone who turned out for this ride – a great experience!
