Wednesday 17th August, 2016 – pretty pub ride to the Rod and Line via Tilland Mill; delightful post boxes

For our route click here.  18 miles; 500 m climbed

A fine evening despite a forecast of rain; a gentle ride down to The Rod and Line PH at Tideford for our drink; and then along the valley past Heskyn Mill before taking our time over the hill up to Bethany – lights now needed.  Finally, back along the ridgeway to Doddy Cross and Pengover Green.

Geoff and I notice that when we need a post box we can never find one.  However, last night they seemed to be on every corner, including this wonderful George V specimen just before the hill up to Trerulefoot.
