Tightening up on safety for End to End

Pete and I have come up to London ready for the Ride London 100. Today we went to the cycle show at the Excel Centre  so I could collect my race paperwork. This was a great opportunity to add to our safety things for the End to End, specifically registering our bikes on a national data base, publicising our emergency contact details, and adding to our visibility on the road.

We opted for bike register.com – permanent marking and registration of your bike on a national database for £10.

I downloaded the I phone app: ICE which puts all my details on the lock screen of my phone. Pete purchased a cycling wrist ID called OneLifeiD which contains all his essential details.

I bought a luminous dhb ladies flourish wisp gilet to go over my waterproof. It folds up very small and is water repellant.
